Developing the cooperative relations between VISTIP and Small & Medium Business Corporation- Korea

On 19/02/ 2019, at the office of Ministry of Science and Technology – 39 Tran Hung Dao street, Ha Noi, Mr. Bui Quy Long – Director of the Center for Vietnam Science and technology internationalization promotion (VISTIP) has received and worked with the delegation from Korea Business Development Center (KBDC) under the Small and Medium Business Corporation (SBC).

The delegation of Korea Business Development Center working with VISTIP consists of two delegates Phd Kim Kwang Sok- Director of the Center and Ms Vu Thu Trang – Manager.  During the meeting, the two sides have discussed and exchanged about the cooperation contents under the frame work of the signed MOU between VISTIP and SBC in 2013. The two sides also discussed and proposed some projects in ODA Cooperative Development Program (period of 2020-2023) between the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam (MOST) and the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT)  of Korea.

SBC is one big corporation in Korea, it has a strength in supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs), start-ups businesses through consulting activities, technology transfer, training and loan programs ... In the meeting, representative of KBDC / SBC proposed with VISTIP to build some cooperation ideas that the two sides are interested in asking for funding from ODA of the Korean Government through the competent Korean Ministry - MSIT. The two sides will continue to work together in order to draft more details on cooperation projects relating to the above mentioned contents.

At the end of the meeting, Mr Bui Quy Long thanked and highly appreciated KBDC / SBC's efforts  as well as Mr Kim's in cooperation activities  and hoped that the cooperation projects of the two sides would be successful in the future.
