At the meeting, Dr. HOANG highly appreciated the fruitful cooperation between Republic of Korea and Vietnam in the atomic energy for peace, especially in the field of human resource development. He also expressed his sincere thanks to Dr. CHUNG and Dr. LEE for their active participation in the Workshop on Advanced Radiation Technology, as well as for the support of ARTI for VAEA on the radiation technology. Both sides agreed on active preparation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the cooperation in the field of radiation and radioactive isotope technology for socio-economic development. Dr. CHUNG informed that ARTI is willing to cooperate with the VAEA on the human resource development, and to share the experience on mapping radiation and isotope technology./.
